Film synopsis : Ella is a high-energy woman who loves thrills. Her favorite pastime is watching torture videos on the internet. Convinced she's a psychopath, she decides to kidnap someone to experiment on. But when she realizes she's not ready for this kinf of activity and she wants to let her victim go. Unfortunately for her, he's a suicidal man who refuses to leave alive. The solution then seems obvious to Ella: She'll have to give him a taste for life again.
Uh... I'm sorry, please forgive me is a dark comedy where the absurd reigns supreme and each decision seems worse than the last.
"I wanted to make a film in the style of Francis Veber's The Dinner Game. Striking dialogue and improbable situations filled with misunderstandings. In the meantime, I discovered Pascal Plante's film The Red Rooms, and the subject of killer admirers caught my attention. That's how I began to imagine the character of Ella. Then, drawing on my own experiences, the character of Donatien (the depressive who gets kidnapped) was born."
